How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP6037511 / WE18X25100 Dryer Lint Filter Assembly

Replaced the filter. The difficult part was finding one for my dryer. 

Here is how I fixed the lint filter... Are you ready, took about as much time as opening the door, removing the old and broken one and swapping the new one in. Worked up a sweat on that one I did...... What I am impressed with,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,that fact, that I ordered the part on one day before 4pm, the next day before 1pm in the afternoon the part was in the dryer........That in itself is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered a new one. I got the filter 2 days after I ordered it. So happy will your service. Only wish most company were half as great as you guys. 

Lifted the old filter out and snapped the new filter in. 

I found the model number and googled for dryer parts. It was very easy to find the right part on Appliance Parts Pros. When I received the new lint trap, it was exactly the correct one. It took only a minute to replaced the broken one. So easy! 

Bought a new one. 

I was so surprised at how fast I got the new filter. Super fast shipping. Great service. 

Just removed the old damaged one and installed the new replacement by hand.
