How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5957851 / WB15X24435 Handle Assembly

After 6 years of use my microwave door handle broke. I was dredging the repair because of my busy schedule. After only 15 minutes of a Google search I found the part and ordered it on your website. 3 days later I recived the handle. After another 10 minutes YouTube search and some basic tools I fixed it and couldn't be happier. Thanks appliance parts pros. 

I replaced it 

I took of the plastic molding around the inside of the door to get to the screws. 

Replaced it. 

First, and best thing was I ordered parts from AppliancePartsPros.com. Parts arrived quickly and were correct and high quality. I used putty knife to "pop" inside door cover off of end with handle and replaced with screwdriver. Bulbs simply screwed in. Total time to fix all was 15 minutes. If I need parts for appliances in the future I will definitely purchase from Appliance Parts. 

Ordered a replacement handle from APP and took literally 5-10 minutes to attach the new handle. Also, huge shoutout to APP’s customer service: I lost the good screw to the handle (previous installer used two types of screws) and they offered to go out and look to see what kind of screws I’d need, luckily I was able to remember what the good screw used looked like (prior to me losing it somewhere in my kitchen). 

I ordered the replacement and watched a you tube video. 

Watched a YouTube video and did it quick! 

Ordered the handle, which arrived 2 days later and installed it. 

Replaced it.
