Basic remove and replace, you'll only need a phillips. Solenoid has one of those pointlessly inconvenient star head screws at the top, but if you remove the other screws you can slide it out from underneath it without having to loosen. Housing was an upgraded version from the old one which was nice, only beef was that the instructions were written so tiny i had to use a magnifying glass. 

Replaced most of the internal parts including solenoid, control arm flapper, and the springs. The solenoid was the main problem. It had corroded so bad would not move up and down freely. 

I ordered the repair kit from appliancepartspros.com and was pleased with how quick it was delivered. I followed the video from online and the process was very easy to follow and place on the refrigerator.
