How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2043227 / WE12X83 Idler Pulley

Replaced belt pulley, tank beating and felt seal. 

I replaced the rear drum bearing. I also went ahead and replaced the belt ,idler pulley and drum slides in front. Our dryer is 34 years old so I thought I would replace those parts while I had the dryer broke apart. It was easy to repair because I watched your online video. That was very helpful! It took me as much time cleaning the lint out as it did the repair! The parts were exactly right! I would suggest everyone to do this repair yourself and save lots of money. Thanks!!! 

After work I removed the drum and installed the new parts. Fast easy repair. Great videos on the appliance parts pro page. 

Replaced belt and pulley.... 

Replaced rear and front bearings, idler pulley, and belt. After taking the dryer apart, it was obvious that only the front bearings needed replacement but decided if I was going to tackle the project I wanted to only do it once. Called support who pointed me to a parts kit which was a great savings. Videos were excellent. Took me 3-4 hours, in part because a lot of lint had built up over time and needed to be cleaned out. 

Replaced all related parts 

I ordered the parts that I thought it needed by doing some research and it seems to be much better! Also, the how to videos on the website made it so easy and it was step by step and that was really the way I fixed it! 

I change the uper bearing and rear drum bearing the idler pulley to now the daryer works like new no more noise thank you Appliance parts pros, ,ps yhe price was vey reasonable 

I ordered parts from you on Friday and got them Saturday by the afternoon!! Wow!! Blew me away. We (wife and I) had no problem with disassembly or re-assembly. But when it came time to mount the belt on the pulley, we couldn't find our flashlight. Guess where it was? On the floor of the drier, inside it!! Yes we tore it apart and put it back together again. We laughed because it was just a stupid mistake on my part. I will use you guys again if needed. Thanks for the fast service. Local parts guy took 2 days to get back to me.
