Busted the door choke cover the trying to get it off since it’s supposed to snap in and out
Then I removed the broken latch assembly and ordered the part
The part in the diagram was the wrong one so I called and got assistance and the helpful person at appliance parts pros was able to match it to another GE microwave that the original part also fit
Of course, the choke cover was discontinued so after I replaced the door latch I snapped the pieces of the cover back in and used black super glue to weld it
Good as new!
