How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4981597 / WR32X10835 Meat Pan

Replaced the Meat Pan. 

Ordered replacement parts. Had trouble attaching handle with gasket. Had to look at vege draw to figure it out. 

Order a new one 

Replaced Ice Dispenser Solenoid, Door Recess Spring, and Dispenser Door Recess Crank and now the Ice Door Assembly opens wider and seals better when closed. No more ice jams in the chute. Also replaced parts Meat Pan, Slide Asm Lh, and Meat Pan Handle to repair the cracked meat drawer. Great customer service with AppliancePartsPros.com. I have used them in the past and will due so in the future. Special thanks to April in customer service. 

I bought a new Meat Pan and replaced it easily without any use of tools. 

I had to remove the drawer above it and pull the fridge out to pull the drawers completely out. 

Quick 5 minute job, exact fit OEM part made it a breeze; skill level needed... 1 :). 

Swapped parts out.
