My husband taught me a lot about using tools before he died. I have fixed my dryer also. I went to YouTube and watched the repair. Ordered the parts and fixed my microwave stirred fan blade cover in 5 minutes flat. When the cover melted I thought I would have to buy a new microwave, but then I researched it first... I saved. Ron H Pulaski , TN May 10, 2016 Appliance: Model GE JE18605B-001 Arcing and burning inside the microwave Waveguide was scored and burned. Temporary fix included duct taping a cardboard patch over the holes in the existing wave guide. BOught a new one and two plastic rivets. The old rivets were reusable, but new ones made the repair take all of 2 minutes. took off the tape and the old waveguide and installed the new one. Simple. Read More...
