Terry B Rodman , NY March 18, 2017 Appliance: Model GEH50DEEDSRB Replace anode rod on ge hybrid water heater Drain water heater, remove covers, remove old anode rod 50G from tank. I had to completely drain tank & tilt the water tank to have enough clearance to get new rod back in, other than that repair was easy. I will be lowering the pedestal to give me more clearance to do this without completely draining. Repair will only take 30 minutes to do. Reminder you have to have a torque wrench to set the rod.
