How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4484656 / WD02X10169 Screw

Replaced all the related parts. 

Determined that the mid spray arm was loose and worn where it spins. Removed the spray arm with a 1/4” socket and ratchet also removed the mid hub with the same tool. Installed the new hub then the spray arm and bearing (stainless steel washer). Simple repair and no more noise. 

I replaced the upper spray arm bearing and screw, and also replaced the middle spray arm housing. The whole project was super easy -- except for the first part: removing the upper rack so I could move around it. My unit had these two gray clips (one on either side) within the inner rail area and they were hard to find. Once I found them, I just had to push on them to get the upper rack to come out so I could work on the two spray arms. The rest was easy. 

Ordered new dishwasher arm and the screw that holds it in place. Repair took about ten minutes to remove old arm and screw and then to put new parts on. Part was exactly the same as original and easy to install. 

Replaced the rack, the replacement was already fully assembled. Replacing the middle sprayer and assembly wasn't too bad. 

Found parts list on appliance pros. Straightforward installation. 

Inlet valve failure not allowing tub to fill over time left soap buildup in main conduit and spinners. Soap was too hard to remove so replacement parts solved the problem 

Bought all the parts here and fixed it in 30 minutes. Saved hundreds
