James P North Port , FL September 30, 2014 Appliance: Model GE PXRQ15RBL TWIST AND LOCK EVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM Ro booster pump would not shut off After realizing that my GE Ro water system required 40psi, I changed the pressure switch from a 20/40 to a 40/60 to ensure enough pressure for the system to operate and to help out the ice maker. After changing the pressure switch, the pump would no longer shut off. After doing some research, one of the symptoms was a bad check ball. I replaced the shut off cover/chk ball assembly and the pump now turns off and the RO water faucet and icemaker are working perfectly. Read More...
