How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4691463 / WR17X12911 Refrigerator Chiller Shelf

It was only a matter of sliding it on the (covering the ice maker box) ice maker box. 

I watched the videos on appliance parts pros and decided to try to fix my ice machine on my own. I'm a 50 year old housewife and gave it a try. I ordered a new ice maker and ice auger motor. The repair was super easy!! So glad I did it! Thank you appliance parts pros!! 

Replaced ice maker kit within 15 minutes; next morning the bin was full of ice again! Didn't need to move fridge or unplug it. Didn't need the extra parts that came with the kit either (I have plastic shelving, not metal, as some seem to have.) Careful when disconnecting the old ice maker; the metal tube on the bottom side is very hot! 

First I removed the drawer and glass. Then I removed the old slide assemblies and replace the new. 

Your customer service person was great!!!!!!!!!!! she stepped in when all parts weren't shown and verified that all parts would fit multiple models if necessary. She handled the order as if she was the owner of the company !! The highest complement I can give her. And the parts came fast and they all fit as they have on my past orders. I just slide the Ice bucket out, dumped ice in new bucket, after washing it of course. Then slide the old chiller try out and put the new one in. Didn't need any tools to fix these problems.
