Ronald E Richmond , IN November 23, 2015 Appliance: Model GE9200GAL No heat noisy drum door latch broken worn belt All parts fit perfectly. We had a addition problem with the rear seal partly gone(burnt up). No replacement availble so, we glued and stabled a piece of felt weather stripping. Two layers to get the approxmate thickness -gluded with high temperature gasket material from Autozone. Did a lot of cleaning of dust from the the bad rear seal leaking lint into dryer. No heat was caused by faulty t/stat L258-50(burned up). Door latch and drum sliders was easy to install. We put three drops of Motorquote on drum bearning to make it slide easy and last.(inside and outside). Note the slider come with liquid packets(2) to put on slider. We put some on sliders and onto the drum turning by hand. Dryer started first time! Dryer is over 25+ years old! Read More...
