How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2014848 / WB03K10036 Thermostat Knob

Pulled old knob off and pushed new one on then removed 4 screws to take control panel off and 4 more to detach display panel. Peeled old face plate off, cleaned display panel then stuck new face plate on. reassembled in reverse order. Both repairs were quick and easy. I didn't even review any tutorials before doing the work. 

Ordered new one 

Knob was easy the valve was tougher its in a hard to reach spot and I needed to shut the gas. Would have been nice to have some instructions. 

I followed the repair video. Slight problem screws holding down oven base rusted used dremel to grind one off. The rest of repair went as planned. 

Ordered a new knob; put the new knob in place; works fine.
