How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3779012 / WB13K10014 Top Burner Spark Electrode

I searched the Internet for the replacement part and I found out how rediculous prices are on some merchant's "discount" price lists. Then I found your website (thank you) and was quite surprised on how reasonable your prices are, on genuine GE parts too. Replacing the igniter was a simple pull the old one out from the connector and inserting the new one in. My wife was surprised on how quickly we got the parts from you and how inexpensive they were. I'm sure it would have cost $100 or more if we called a service shop. Thank you very much! 

Replaced the ignitor with a new one. It was nice to know that i had the right ignitor using the "Is it compatible" tool 

Ordered the parts, pulled up the igniters and pulled them off the wires. Pushed on new igniters and pressed them back into place. No need to remove top of stove at all. Total repair time about 8 minutes. 

We ordered a top burner igniter and after watching the video, my husband easily replaced it. The old was actually cracked at the bottom, which we couldn't see from the exposed area. Our stove top required those weird "star" shaped tools, so we did have to buy a tiny adapter set of those. 

Orded new knobs to replace these .The new ones are made out of metal which is a big upgrade! price was great. have too order two more to replace the two other knobs.The burner igniter was the wrong one but I'LL keep it as a spare I fixed the other igniter.The wire connection was messed up it is now working good! Removed the cover for the built-in cooktop and replaced the harness switch.
