How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4412508 / WD01X10406 Valve Flapper (Dual Pump)

Removed dishwasher from it niche, examined the bottom, and found out what parts I needed. Went on line, found Appliance Parts Pro, looked at their video, saw that I could do it, and ordered the parts. When the parts arrived, removed old parts, and inserted new ones. It took longer to remove the dishwasher from it's niche, than to replace the parts. 

Replaced both flap valves....one wasn't even on the discharge hose. Still did not drain. Poured a glass of water with 2 tablespoons of vinegar and one of baking soda into the grate at the bottom of the washer and WOW IT WORKED. Fixed that. Gonna do that every month. 

I watch the videos on the site and determined the problem was with the pump. I was able to pull the dishwasher out and replace the pump. Since the dishwasher was out already, I ordered an inlet valve and replace that as well. Got the parts quickly, everything went extremely well.
