How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4670625 / AAP72931603 Basket Assembly

This replacement part was about the easiest repair I've done on an appliance. The broken shelved removed by applying firm upward pressure from the bottom to pop it out of the two slots. The new shelf went in the opposite - lines the tabs in back with the holes on the door, then downward pressure until the tabs snapped into place. Good as new! 

This was a very easy snap-out and snap-in repair. It took a little more than a tug to get the old one out, but with a firm upward pull, the two clips holding it to the door released and the new one went in perfectly. This is the second time I've purchased repair parts from APP. Both times the parts were perfect replacements and the price, even with shipping, beat anyone out there...especially the store where I made the original purchases. Thanks APP - you are definitely my 'go to' source for repair parts in the future. 

I searched and searched and ordered the wrong part the first time then I found your site. I explained as best I could my problem --So many sketches of parts are misleading--however an email came suggesting what turned out to be the exact right part at a reasonable price came in almost immediately so I ordered 2. Our shipment arrived a couple of days later nicely packaged and V OILA--the correct part. What I had not scene was it wasn't just the front piece of molding-it was an entire shelf w/molding and affixed to the door with multiple anchors. Great job and thank you for making my life a whole lot easier. 

The shelf needed to be replaced. The folks at Appliance Parts Pro were wonderful in helping me order. I couldn't find exactly which piece to order. They found it from my description. When it arrived it didn't seem right. I called and together we figured out how it was to be replaced in my refrigerator. If anything ever need replacing again, I will call Appliance Parts Pro first. P.S. No tools were required, but the form won't let me "submit" unless I select a tool. :)
