I drained the water via the small drain tube in the lower front of the washer. I placed the washer on it's side to gain access to the pump at the bottom. Removed the hoses, unscrewed the screws holding the pump assembly in place. I removed the pump to see what kind it was, matching it against the pictures on this website just to be sure. The website also has a feature that lets you know that the part you are looking at is a fit for your specific model! I ordered the pump, and it arrived within just a few days....so I didn't have to leave the washer disassembled for very long. I then referred to some videos that this company had on its website that helped me re-assemble it all, making sure that I reconnected the wiring properly. My wife thinks I'm a hero. Saved having to make a costly service call.
