How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4991593 / AGM55833801 Door Frame - White

Replaced door cover and handle. It's easy to break the plastic tabs when replacing the door cover so take your time. 

We got a replacement door and handle for our over-the-stove unit. Parts arrived quickly and we were able to easily replace it. Saved a ton of money not having to replace the whole microwave and felt great about ourselves for fixing it. Props to my wife for having the idea to just get replacement parts, and props to Appliance Part Pros for their quick, professional service. 

I had to remove the broken frame and handle. Replaced them with the parts purchased from appliance parts pros. I watched several videos on their website. The project was relatively easy had I not lost one of the screws 

Really easy to avoid this type of repair do no let woman make hummingbird food on stove and forget about ! If this happens to you I suggest ordering the back seal gasket 

Replaced frame & vent. Viewed a youtube video for help in removing the frame from the door without damaging other parts. 

Looked into LG website to correctly identify the product number of each parts. Went through a video tutorial on You Tube how to install that. Ordered the product from Appliance parts website by entering exactly the product code I need for. It arrived in 10 days and it took 10 minutes to install. Simple. I would recommend to identify the correct part id and watch a video on YouTube before ordering. 

Ordered new panel and vent cover. Repair took 40 minutes. So 50 dollars and less than an hour to put my lg microwave back into verses shopping for a new one that would cost 500 plus dollars, relationship well spent
