How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4449681 / MEA40002601 Guide Rail

Few minutes to unscrew and fasten new guide rail. 

New parts! 

The only delay in the repair were the existing screws which were screwed in tightly. I discovered that the holes for the screws in both the existing guide rails and the replacements were slightly too small for the screws to fit properly. Both the unscrewing and screwing back in resulted in a slight stripping of the screws. 

Exchanged with the new one your representative suggested. 

The rails come bare so you need to reuse the hardware. The new rails appear much stronger. One of the rails the center mounting hole was filled with plastic but I drilled it out large enough so it wouldn't crack. It would have taken only about 10 minutes but I had to deal with the center hole. 

I was able to replace my tracks quickly and easily with the parts I ordered from Appliance Parts Pros. The parts I needed were easy to find on the website and were delivered in a quick manner. I am glad that I kept the original broken parts as I needed to reuse the screws to attach the parts as well as the wheels on which they glide on. 

Easily fixed my broken drawer glide with one ordered part. 

Part was exactly what I needed, easy fix 

Replaced the drawer guide and is now working fine
