How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5783629 / AEM73732901 Drain Hose

Took the back panel off, took the old hose off, put the new hose on. It was easy. 

Replaced hose. 

Watched video on this site. With age of machine I purchased both hoses. Very straight forward crimp clamps with pliers, move back, remove hoses and install new hoses. I did use a utility knife to cut a slit down the pump hose for easier removal.

Took the old drain hose and hose assembly off. It took less than 10 minutes to install the new OEM parts, upright the washing machine, and start a cycle. No leak! 

We ordered the part and it arrived within a couple of days. Easy replacement. I removed the old hose and installed the new one. It only took about 30 minutes roughly. 

Saw water on the kitchen floor coming from underneath the washing machine. So I bought 2 hoses as without taking it apart I couldn't tell. Wound up being the tub to pump hose. It was difficult to remove on both ends as the factory had used some type of sealer/glue to keep it from coming off. The other was the actual drain hose, even though it didn't appear to be leaking I replaced it. Your how-to video sure made the whole job easier as it had all the details & was easy to follow. I ordered the exact replacement from Appliance Parts Pros, and it arrived much faster than predicted. When I removed old drain hose I learned there is a lot of water still standing in it! I used the old wire ring clamp on the hose- to- pump joint, and it leaked :( Replaced wire clamp with a real hose clamp, and now the machine is up and running.
