Campbell F Great Falls , MT October 07, 2018 Appliance: Model MCF 3513601500 The light bulb was burned out inside the microwave To determine the type of bulb for replacement, needed to remove the cover on the microwave. Removing the cover took about 30 minutes. It has some new type of 4 screws that are not slotted, or fillips. They were 5 sided with a metal protrusion in the middle. Did not have a tool that fit the screws, so ended up using a pair of pliers to slowly remove each screw. Once cover removed, had a bulb affixed to a plastic socket with two lead wires. Uncoupled the two wires and removed the socket with attached bulb. Went to the Appliance Parts Pro for the type of Microwave and found a similar type of socket/bulb product. Replaced the odd screws with fillips head screws. Ordered on line. Product arrived on the date Appliance Parts Pro stated it would arrive. Had the cover off and socket/bulb connected and in place and cover back on in less than five minutes. Light comes on.
