How to Troubleshoot & Replace Mcf AP5322872 / 3513601500 Cavity Lamp (Mco2212ar)

First, disconnect power plug on microwave. then Remove 2 screws from vent above microwave door which then allows access to single screw on programing touch screen. After removing screw, screen component has 2 tabs on bottom which lift and then remove screen allowing component to dangle freely and allows access to bulb socket. The socket also has 2 tabs and to easily remove bulb, that socket holder must also be released by disengaging tabs. Then simply replace bulb and reverse order assembly 

Ordered the part which came very fast. ...snapped it in...put the grill and front panel on ...plugged it in and we were in business....... This is the second appliance part we ordered from Appliance Pros and were very pleased that they had them in stock and the swiftness of their arrival was a huge plus. Frigidaire microwave light is no longer available T170 125v 25w. Found Majic Chef 3513601500 is same bulb..appliance parts pros number is MCO221AR 

Took cover off (4 security screws, 2 phillips head screws), placed bulb on two prongs and re atttached the 2 leads I had disconnected to get bulb out for #. This is for a Sharp Carousel Microwave model # R-165ZS. A GE bulb (#WB36X951)is same replacement bulb/assembly. Please update this model # within search for matching part. 

Ordered the Light Bulb (special) from Appliance Parts Pro's and replaced it myself. The hardest time was identifying the light bulb as the Model Number of the microwave did not come up. So I used a similar model number and verified the part looked the same by looking at the picture provided at Appliance Parts Pro's. 

To determine the type of bulb for replacement, needed to remove the cover on the microwave. Removing the cover took about 30 minutes. It has some new type of 4 screws that are not slotted, or fillips. They were 5 sided with a metal protrusion in the middle. Did not have a tool that fit the screws, so ended up using a pair of pliers to slowly remove each screw. Once cover removed, had a bulb affixed to a plastic socket with two lead wires. Uncoupled the two wires and removed the socket with attached bulb. Went to the Appliance Parts Pro for the type of Microwave and found a similar type of socket/bulb product. Replaced the odd screws with fillips head screws. Ordered on line. Product arrived on the date Appliance Parts Pro stated it would arrive. Had the cover off and socket/bulb connected and in place and cover back on in less than five minutes. Light comes on. 

Replaced light bulb. This is a built in microwave, removed it from cabinet, removed microwave case, easy bulb replacement. 

Ordered replacement cavity lamp, installed works fine. Thanks for having the right lamp for the microwave. 

Put the part in there. 

Removed 4 non-tamper screws from back, removed cover. Bulb had 2 leads to remove. Plastic base of bulb clips in, so had to press clip back to release burned out bulb. Clipped new bulb in place, reattached leads, replaced cover. Hardest part was trip to Tractor Supply Co. to purchase set of non-tamper/security screwdriver tips ($4.95 on "Promo table")
