How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP5651715 / DA96-00880D Refrigerator Motor Fan Assembly

Refrigerator Fan burned out and subsequently fried the motherboard. Ordered both, installed them, and now it works like new. 

After manual defrost, removed fan assembly and temp sensor. Installed replacement and plugged in. Presto perfect fridge!

Changed fan and motor. 

Replaced the circulation fan in the refrigerator side of the unit. 

The heater-sheath was bad. I also replaced the motor and fan because in my testing I fried it. 

I bought a fan motor assembly, having decided the noise was coming from the frig cabinet. I dismantled the cabinet and cleaned the parts while the area around the fan defrosted. The area was heavily iced. After reassembly, I cleaned the coils around the condenser. They were very dirty, and I figured I had caused the problem myself. 

Yes Didn’t need the sensors going to return. But the fan fixed cooling problem.
