How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4144936 / DA63-03454B Refrigerator French Door Center Hinge

Very easy fix for the center hinge and top. Can’t get the old bottom hinge out but it isn’t necessary (so far). The cover on the top and bottom hinges pop right out, the center doesn’t but you can work the old hinge out and the new one in, it will flex enough. Two phillips screws hold the center hinge, take them out, pull out the electrical connection, unplug replace the hinge, reconnect the electrical connection and that’s it. The video is very good except that the bottom hinge won’t come out and the cover on the center hinge. Took longer to write this than to the do the fix.

I looked up the parts on AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered them. I then watched their DIY videos to repair the hinges. The parts were a perfect fit and I experienced no issues. Success! 

Removed the door from the fridge and separated the door to get to the 1 screw for the center hinge. Removed the push-in hold down for the bottom hinge with a small flat tip screwdriver and reassembled it. 

I repaired the water dispenser with no problems by following your video. The door flap, however isn't fixed yet. I'm not sure I have the right part and won't know until I install it. Not sure if my refrigerator is a model RF261BEAEWW/AA-0001 or RF261BEAEWW/AA-01, Samsung. I am pleased with the water dispenser repair. 

I had to get a new center hinge, lower hinge and spring. I followed the video the repair was seamless and took less than 15 minutes! 

I looked on YouTube for a video to fix this problem, and an excellent video from Appliance Part Pros popped up for my EXACT issue. I immediately ordered the parts which were delivered in 2 days. I repaired the refrigerator following the video step by step and issue solved for $25, as opposed to at least a $200 repair visit. I really like that when you enter your appliance model number on Appliance Part Pros website all the parts pop up for that particular model, which makes your search a lot easier. If I can do this repair, anyone can!
