How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4210694 / DC97-12150A Dryer Leveling Leg Assembly

When purchased the supplier kept the leveling legs for the top piece. Ordered these as replacements and they appear to be just fine. 

Ordered these leveling legs so I could install a pedestal. Worked great! 

Went to your site with the manufacturer name/model # and a list of parts came up. The best part you had video on how to repair. I took the front off and found the heating element and just like your picture in your catalog with same dimension, fuses, etc. Ordered the part, came in on time and installed. Wife is happy. 

Installed new legs. 

Simon on You Tube https://youtu.be/Y4IN5V6uJEE showed me EXACTLY how to do it. I've had the washer apart in the past to replace the drum boot so I knew how to access everything. Easy job. The hardest part was the retaining clamp at the back of the washer. It snaps off easy from the rear of the washer but is tough to reach from the inside through the front or the top. 

We ordered the legs from Appliance Parts Pros and received them in what was about one day, give or take a few hours. The reason we were putting legs on the dryer is that our Samsung washer went bad after only four years and since we had purchased it and paid $500 for matching pedestals. Problem is Samsung has changed their washer and it is now larger making our $500 pedestals useless. I understand there is a class action suit in progress against Samsung for the substandard spider assembly that fails on nearly every machine. Back to the leveling feet they worked fine but I had to use self taping screws to secure the mounting plate to the bottom of the dryer so that the legs would work properly.
