How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6016814 / WPW10196405 Range Drip Pan Or Bowl

We first bought drip pans at Home Depot. Generic drip pans. They didn't fit right so we ordered Whirlpool drip pans from Appliance Parts Pros. Now they fit right. We also ordered an extra oven rack which also fits correctly. Ordering and delivery were both effortless. Thanks. 

Remove and replace. 

First search for parts turned up some drip pans on Amazon which were made by OEM. Further searching by appliance model number led me to appliancepartspros.com. The site database confirmed the Amazon pans wouldn't fit. I ordered the recommended replacements on a weekend, and immediately received an email confirmation. Parts were delivered within three days to Washington State. They were priced right and fit perfect. Very happy to have found this company, and have bookmarked their site for future orders.

By ordering the correct types of drip pans from appliancepartspros.com These fit like a good glove and make the range work like new again. 

Removed the burner, replaced the drip pan, and reinstalled the burner, 

Just removed the coil and dropped the new pans in place. I do have one thing to say about the $100 Wine Card that was enclosed with my purchase... It's useless. They do not ship to the state of Arkansas. You may want to give customers other options to choose from. 

We always bought generic pans and elements from local big box store. They never fit correctly. these fit just like when the stove was new, looks better and the pots and pans sit level on the stove. very pleased and Momma is happy..
