How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6016814 / WPW10196405 Range Drip Pan Or Bowl

I have purchased some aftermarket drip pans for my Whirlpool stove and they were a poor fit. The eyes would not sit level. I purchased these OE drip pans to correct the problem. All eyes now sit flat and level. 

Just replaced them 

Replaced terminal block and installed new elements.Hardest part of job was getting old terminal block out.Would be helpful to recommend a good grease remover to future customers. 

After years of not understanding how drip pans are measured, I finally found Appliance Parts Pros and saw the notation that the W10196405 and W10196406 drip pans are universal--and that Norge is among the brands they are parts for, being Whirlpool parts. I realized that the 8" and 6" measurements are (roughly) the measurements of the diameter of the openings the pans fit into, rather than of the diameter of the pans themselves, which are wider. I ordered two and they came in two days. I had taken a chance, because I could not find my model number, but they fit! I ordered two more (one extra for the big burner) --they came in one day! I can't thank AppliancePartsPros enough. The drip pan on the big burner, which is the one I use the most, was so rusted out that there was more missing than there. The other three were rusted through with holes beginning. With the new drip pans my more than quarter-century-old stove looks shiny and almost new! 

I ordered the drip pans for my model electric range and received my order in about 2 days. The replacement of all four drip pans took less than five minutes and they fit like a tailored suit. What more can you ask for?
