We took the dryer out of the laundry room and took it apart, after reviewing numerous videos at Appliance Parts Pros for direction. Removed front panel, front bulkhead and drum. Then removed exhaust duct, blower assembly and finally motor. (Use large flat blade screw-driver to press very hard down and out on motor mount to remove). After reinstalling all components....motor, new exhaust duct work, front bearings in front bulkhead, and blower assembly, all went back together great. The most challenging part was making sure the motor was wired correctly, since the switch on the motor was different from the original, but by following instructions to the letter got the job done fairly easily. Machine works perfectly again, so won't need a new one for quite some time....perhaps another 38 years. Gotta say...Appliance Parts Pros was awesome with delivery...had to order parts about three times and each time the part was delivered the next day.
