How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5644252 / W10508993 Glass Crisper Cover

Simple replacement. The how-to video was reassuring, but not really necessary. 

Removed old drawer, removed cover and put in new. 

Replaced parts. 

Ordered the shelf stud kit and crisper cover. 

Bought new crisper cover 

Removed top hinge, lifted door off, replaced cams, reinstalled door. The most difficult part was getting the cam out of the bottom of the door. The part that goes up into the door was seized and broke off inside the door. I used a cordless drill to drill it out; as soon as the drill started to cut into the plastic it broke free and came out on the tip of the drill bit. Replaced the drawer, shelf, and light cover. 

I searched for replacement parts and I found them on AppliancepartsPros.com. They were very reasonably priced and I ordered them online. The parts came within a couple of days and I didn't order expedited delivery. I was very impressed. The parts were all made by Whirlpool so they were perfect. My refrigerator looks like new again! I'd definitely recommend this company! 

I simply slid out the old shelf and slid in the new one. The original Whirlpool part and the generic replacement were identical with the exception of the Whirlpool trademark on the front of the replacement shelf. 

It was so easy. I entered the model number of my old Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator/freezer and then ordered the compatible Whirlpool replacement parts as indicated on the diagram. Pricing was lower than the same parts on either Amazon or Sears websites. They arrived the next day. 

Looked online to find parts and cost for the same, ordered them and they came within 7 days. I've replaced the refrigerator parts and the refrigerator looks a lot better.
