How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5951852 / W10728159 Lower Dishrack

So far, I've only replaced the bottom rack and a tine row on top rack. Color of the 2 parts different than original color of the Kenmore dish washer though the fit it fine. I still need top rack for it but that has to wait until after Christmas expenses. It's in better condition than the bottom one was. 

I got a replacement part from this website and followed the great and easy to follow directions that were online. I took off the rollers from the old rack and put the rollers back on the new rack and rolled it into the dishwasher. 

Replaced the dishrack. 

Watched a Youtube video on changing the wheels. 

We ordered the replacement Lower Dishrack. We reused the wheel assemblies from our original dishwasher. I removed the wheel assemblies one at a time and put them on the new rack so I could use the original rack as a model.

Ordered a new dishrack and followed the video to successfully repair. 

Ordered a new rack. Received it in less than 2 weeks and in 15 minutes I had it changed over and installed. It is working great! 

Ordered a new rack, took the wheels off the old rack and snapped them on the new rack. 

Replaced rusted basket. The part I ordered arrived the next day and was exactly right. Thanks for your speedy and efficient service.
