How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6005921 / WP2171713 Ice Compartment Door (Ice Bin Access)

Replacement part purchased. Snapped right into place. Issue solved. 

Both parts fit perfect, have used this site for parts many times & will continue to do so in the future.

Attempted to repair using glue, however, in both instances the glue repairs failed in a short time. Re-ordered two new exact replacement pieces and placed them into freezer. Ordered replacement door, very easy installation and works perfectly. 

Ordered the door repair kit and it came the next day! Replaced the upper and lower cams and works like new.
