How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4323896 / W10156818 Refrigerator Condenser Fan Blade

Ordered a replacement part and installed it ourselves. 

Replaced the condenser fan with a new one, noise is gone entirely. The hole in the middle where the fan connects to the motor must have gotten loose with age and as a result started buzzing due to not being fit securely. New one resolved the issue 

I took off the bottom panel of the refrigerator that held the fan. The fan arrived in two days and was replaced. I did not see the drain tube p-trap on the site, otherwise I would have purchased it also. The refrigerator is back working again. 

Popped the old one off. Popped the new one on. Easy as pie. 

Ordered new fan from APP. Ordering was the best experience I've ever received from an on line company. Received part by date given by APP. Also received video on how to install fan. Installed the fan in 6 minutes. EXCELLENT service from Appliance Parts Pros from start to finish. I've already shared my great experience with friends. Keep up the good work. ron w. 

Pulled the back cover and found a broken blade. Replaced the blade and motor. Thank you for the video. Easy to follow and the unit works great. I also have purchased parts for my dryer and replaced the correct parts, now I just ordered parts for the washer. AGAIN thank you for your help. It has saved us a great deal of money. GREAT place to buy your parts 

Order a new filter and a new fan. It’s a shame they came a day apart when they said they come the same day. 

Replaced condenser motor fan blade. Pulled fan blade off and replaced with new. this eliminated much of my noise. Another part of the problem was the water plastic tray vibrating against the aluminum bracket that holds it in place. To remedy this, I put rocks in the plastic tray so it wouldn't move. I bent the small bracket up so it did not come in contact with the plastic tray. I noticed there are numbers on the fan blade using a clock face for orientation of placement onto the condenser motor. I did not see any mention of doing this in videos. Perhaps it is no longer necessary. What noise remains, I am going to try magnets place on condenser motor brackets to eliminate vibration noise. 

The fan is a spare part for now. 

Just followed the video directions, other than using a screwdriver I used a small pry bar. Thank you very much. Ron E.
