It went from repair to redo/customize quickly. As the mixer was old, but had sentimental value. I completely took apart the kitchen aid mixer. I took the case pieces to a powder coated for a new purple coating. As this was being done I decided to purchase new motor parts as the mixer is older and was at times struggling. I disassembled the mixer one year prior to powder coating.
When it came time to assemble and ‘fix’ I really needed the videos on here to help guide me to make sure everything was put back in correctly for it to work like new. And I can say that is exactly how it works!
