How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6022735 / WPW10535778 Gaskt-Door

Removed old and installed the new. All is well. 

My son removed the remainder of the old one and put the new one on in all of 5 minutes. 

The new seal arrived in a day. Pulled off the torn seal with pliers. Installed the new one by hand. Super easy! 

Very easy to replace. Took all of 3 min. Just popped the new one in. 

Removed old seal using needle-nose pliers. Installed new seal. 5 min job on a slow day. 

With the help of the most patient, knowledgeable and professional customer service folks (Michael and Gaye) I have ever dealt with. Ever! These pros were able to find my oven's model number when the label was impossible to read and find the exact seal that it required. 

Turned the oven on and sparks were shooting out the back, it stopped before I could find the breaker. Upon inspection it was the wires to the igniter that somehow shorted and then burned through. Ordered and new ignitor and a door gasket since mine was so worn. Replacement of both was simple enough! 

It only takes about 5 minutes of time to do the job. Need a pair of pliers to pull out the old tab that locks the gasket in place and just put the new gasket tab where it is supposed to go and that’s it. 

Ordered the new gasket, replaced the old one, with the one I bought from you and it works perfectly. So easy to install even an old lady like myself could do it! 

Ordered and installed new gasket.
