How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6015277 / WPW10118456 Outer Door Glass

Used the model number to find the parts at AppiancePartsPros.com. In reading the other stories and reviews, it was recommended to get the door trim kit as well. So I did and it was a good recommendation. I remove the old door trim kit. Cleaned up the remaining glass. Installed the new door trim kit, slid the glass in, replaced the top of the oven door, with the help of my wife. All was well again. 

I removed two screws on back side of oven handle. I removed damaged glass, I slid the new glass into track at bottom. I used masking tape to hold the glass in place. I slid the handle back on (which is the top track) and replaced the screws. Done in less than five minutes. Super easy! 

Had my daughter and friend install the new one.

I watched the video supplied on the website for this particular repair, and it was very helpful. I followed the steps shown on the video, which were fairly clear. 

After watching the video it was a snap. Simple repair job done in less than 5 minutes. All I needed was a Philips head screwdriver. Couldn't have been easier. 

The repair was simple after viewing a u-tube video. The only thing I would add - be sue to place the strips on the inside of the glass. 

Cleaned up and got out all small pieces of class . Unscrewed the handle screws from back of oven door and slide in glass into bottom track. . I held glass in place while he put handle back. It has a track the glass goes into. Then screwed the screws back and "TA DA" done... very very easy.. 

This was a fairly easy repair and the video was helpful. It does take two people to install it just to be on the safe side to have someone hold the glass in place while the second person checks to make sure it it aligned correctly. It literally took minutes to complete the repair.
