How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4429315 / W10269471 Grill-Vent

Order the part. Grandson had it replaced in about 15 min. max. 

Ordered part and by removing 2 screws replaced cover after receiving vent 

Ordered the part 

Ordered new part and installed 

Using the manufacturer and model number search on your web site, I was able to find a current part number for a replacement grill which I ordered. The next day, without having selected the quickest shipping method on my order, the part arrived and installed in no time (two screws). 

Purchased new vent grill and screwed it on. 

New part arrived on time as promised 

The plastic tabs broke away from the screws holding the grill vent to the microwave so even though I was able to put the grill back in place, it didn't stay. So I ordered the new part, and my husband replaced it easily with a screwdriver. 

Phillips screwdriver. Very simple. 2 mins. 

Search on the internet for replacement parts got me to appliance part pros. I founf the diagram of my microwave and they assisted in identifying the correct part number. I ordered that part and it was shipped very promptly. I used the original screws to mount the part . Success!!
