How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4100326 / 74011777 Oven Door Handle

Very easy- most important it was the correct part. Looks Great! 

Took oven door off the oven. Took all the screws out and replaced with new oven door handle. 

New Handle was perfict fit had to time front oven door by lifting stright of hinges removed screws front Glass installed handle reinstalled screws and door 

I had to take off the door and disassemble about 75% of it, which consisted of removing a dozen phillips head screws. The most difficult part is the reassembly because you have to line up and orient the tabs that hold the handle with the outer part of the door. It will make sense once you're into it and see what I mean. If you don't orient and line up the tabs (that swivel) correctly then the holes for the screws won't line up and you'll have to disassemble the door again to fix the misaligned tabs and repeat the process. My advice to you is to take a magic marker and trace the outside of the door handle brackets when you're about to take off the broken handle so when you reassemble it you can just line it up perfectly. 

Installed new door handle and just as important was able to clean the glass i the dooora. 

Ordered the handle and used a YouTube video to repair it. 

Took oven door as part and installed the new one 

Received the part needed. Came quickly. Easy repair. Thanks for the help! 

Replaced with new part, you had the same part as manufacturer and it was 20.00 less on an 70.00 part, very big savings
