How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4069549 / 61005399 Freezer Door Handle (White)

Replacement parts. 

I bought the 2 handles I needed. Only AppliancePartsPros.com, had them, my refrigerator is 21 years old.

The freezer handle was easily removed and replaced by removing the 4 screws. The door handle was easily removed but the replacement part didn't exactly line up with the screw hole on the door. With help I was able to pull it down and get the screw in. They work with a little help. 

The owners of the home we're currently renting had allowed bisque handles to be used with a white refrigerator. Call me crazy but that was something I found to be unacceptable. So...I gathered the model number of our fridge, ordered the replacement handles, and changed them out myself quite easily. Now. I no longer cringe when I am in the kitchen! 

By following the instructions provided, removed the old handles by unscrewing the existing hardware and attached/installed the new handles using the same hardware.
