I ordered a new thermostat as well but before I installed it I figured out how to remove (easily) the old one and test it with a multimeter. Got behind the dryer, removed the heating element, took a look at the coils and pushing them with our fingers could tell that the coil was severed in two and not connected anymore. Read More...
