How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6017937 / WPW10254672 Adapter

You have a kindly genius named Eric D in your department who listened to my problem, asked for pictures and diagnosed that I had left part of the old one in the hose. he was polite, smart and should be very much rewarded for his personality and his cleverness. 

Replace faucet adapter, replace fill and drain hose assembly. You must remove outer cabinet to be able to route new hoses and access hose connections under tub. 

I ordered the coupler and hose assembly because you cannot order just the end. We received the part very quickly, within a couple days. It took my son around an hour to repair. The other comments were helpful about the need to take off top. After taking out the two screws it took a few minutes to figure out we had to slid the top forward for it to completely come off. We also had to take off the dust cover on the bottom in order to twist off the hose. There is also a zip tie inside holding the hose assembly in place. After everything was complete it works great. I hope this info helps.

Replaces the hose assembly with connector. worked great no leaks, also purchased the faucet adapter 

I went to three hardware stores, two plumbing supply houses and ordered two adapters online......none of these places had the part that fit......until I ordered from you! Your website was clear and answered the question of whether your adapter would fit my specific model. And it did fit!! After two weeks of looking, I was finally able to hook up my dishwasher and use it. The repair itself took two minutes and an adjustable wrench. Take the old one off, put the new one on.
