How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3094500 / 285671 Washer Lid Switch Assembly

Replaced the lid switch. 

Watched the video and followed the instructions 

From watching your video ordered and changed the lid switch assembly 

Through help with Appliance Parts Pro, I determined that the problem was a faulty lid switch assembly. I ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pro, used the video provided from their website, made another repair with the help of Appliance Parts Pro, and now the unit works just fine(ly). 

Replaced the lid switch assembly. This was made extremely simple by watching the VIDEO on the appliance parts pros website. As it were... the "instructions" that came WITH the switch would have gotten me no-where. Thanks for a great video guys! LOL... if only the underpinnings of my washer were as pristine and clean as the "star" of YOUR video! 

I have fixed a few things in my time , so I looked on YouTube & found the video of the repair from AppliancePartsPro. It was a pretty thorough video. So I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPro. it was fairly straight forward, just as in the video. Took about 1 hour. It is now a working ancient washer. Thanks 

Watched videos on internet and ordered parts from appliancepartspros.com . ordering was successful and fast. website made it easy to search and identify. produce arrived very quickly. the whole job was smooth and i am happy. and i now have clean clothes, again! 

Replaced Lid Swiitch. The web site video is excellent and made the replacement very easy. I spent more time cleaning the machine than doing the repair. 

I replaced the lid switch assembly, which was faulty. The washer would just stop when it reached the spin cycle, when the lid was fully closed. We stuck a ruler under the lid to crack it open a bit and that worked as a temporary fix until I ordered this switch. I watched the video on this website which made the repair super easy! The hardest part was feeling around under the motor on the floor for one of the cabinet clips which had fallen off. :)
