How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3115182 / 675808 Spray Arm And Supply Tube Kit

I did a Google search of the dishwasher model and found the replacement listed on Appliance Parts Pros. Ordered the part and it arrived quicker than expected. I was able to quickly replace the broken part and the dishwasher is back to working order. While this was a relatively straightforward fix, it would have been nice to have some written guidance on how to assemble the parts received and replace the broken item. 

I replaced the spray arm and supply tube. The video instruction at the site for the Spray Arm and Supply Tube Kit was a big help. 

Removed the broken spray arm assembly from the top basket. Took new assembly and attached new spray arm and water supply tube with the screw. Popped it back in place and attached the water supply tube in the ring in the back. Very easy. It took about 15 minutes and the dishwasher has run fine since. 

Installed spray arm and supply tube kit and a new upper spray arm mount Kit. I watched the repair video prior to ordering the parts to help insure I obtained the correct parts and how to install. 

Installed kit following directions didn’t need special tools. 

We bought the replacement parts and reinstalled. The replacement parts didn't come with the screws and washers needed, so we just reused the ones we had. Installation was simple. We had weighed the option of just buying a new dishwasher, but I feel good about making this repair instead! 

Unit 10 years old. 1. Very small fine crack in right hand lower corner had been cracked for years. Sealed with small amount gasket cement on outside of unit 2. Removed lower sprayer housing above water pump impeller, found many screws loose.. Tightened all screws. Stopped major water leak and failure to drain. 3. Rubber upper spray support disintegrated. Replaced with all of upper spray arm & supply tube kit & mount. 

Just a screwdriver and two screws! 

Piece of cake ... disconnected 20-yr old spray arm and tube and easily installed new one: Two screws and a couple of clips on the rack 

I ordered the spray arm and supply tube kit. I got it in three days and replaced the old, in 10 minutes I had the job done.
