How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3115182 / 675808 Spray Arm And Supply Tube Kit

Replaced upper and lower spray arms, plus nylon bearings. 

I watched the short "how-to" video and it looked easy, so I risked the small price of the parts. It was so easy and quick that it actually took me more time to walk to my shop for the couple tools that I needed than the 4-5 minutes for the repair. Now I can use the top rack it it works perfectly! 

I identified the parts I would need online, shopped for price and delivery, and ordered what I needed. I bought the support arm mount assembly and decided to replace the spray arm and tube as well. Installation was straightforward, although it took me a couple of tries to get the spray arm mount oriented correctly because it is angled to allow the spray arm to miss the deeper glasses channel on one side of the upper rack in the dishwasher. After clipping the arm support and the tube support in place, I installed the arm and tube and was finished. 

I ordered the new spray arm and supply kit on a Wednesday, it arrived on Thursday and my son and husband replaced the old one in 10 minutes. I was extremely impressed with the service. Thankfully it was an easy fix. 

Replaced the Spray Arm & Supply Tube and the 3rd Level Wash Arm, both of which were broken and not working properly. Your Youtube video star, Matt, has now saved our washer AND dishwasher. One point...When he says to place a towel in the bottom of the dishwasher, DO IT! I dropped a screw down there and never did get it out. 

I ordered the replacement Spray arm and mount, received them Saturday ahead of schedule, and had them installed and working within 5 minutes. The one thing I did different than in the video, because I was replacing both parts, is to attach the supply tube and spray arm to the mount assembly before clipping the mount assembly into the rack. The screw fits very tight the first time, and it would have been much more difficult to screw it in with the mount in place. I highly recommend replacing the mount assembly when replacing the spray arm and supply tube. If the arm or tube is brittle, so will the mount probably be. Mine broke with very little force, so I'm glad I had already ordered a replacement. 

I found the model number, and using the diagram of parts on appliance parts pro's website, located and ordered the piece that I needed. Once the part arrived, my husband put it right in and now the dishes on the top of the dishwasher get just as clean as the ones on the bottom! We have used this website several times over the years for appliance repairs and we keep coming back! 

Easy install delivery of parts was quick 

I easily installed the kit pieces and now my 21 year old Kitchenaid dishwasher is returned to full function. The repair was as promised in the video. Will use your services for any future repairs of my current appliances. 

Bought the kit. Simple install. The quicker it gets fixed, the less dirty dishes in the sink.
