How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6012252 / WP8268743 Upper Dishrack Wheel

Ordered the parts from AppliancePartsPros.com. They came the next day and took five minutes to install. 

I had to remove the rack stop clips from the rail to install the new piece on the dishrack. I had a bit of trouble with that. I did have to watch a video on that. I also watched a video on how to get the new wheel installed. I fixed it ! 

Ordered all 4 since the dishwasher is old and the ones not broken were showing signs of age. When they came in, my husband took out the broken one and replaced with the new one. He then successively replaced each of the other three. He used a Gerber multitool to remove the stops on the drawer slides.Been fighting this rack for so long and now it works like new! 

After watching the helpful repair video, I was able with rather ease to remove the upper dishrack and replace the broken dishrack wheel. 

We replaced the broke dishrack wheel. I also had to do this several years ago. 

The clip with a wheel that rides on the rails was available. It came in just a few days (delivered Sunday!). In five minutes the dishwasher was fixed. 

Simple - replaced the old with the new - easy repair. 

Ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros. Repair video was clear, quick, and easier than another video I had watched when the same part broke on the other side last year. When we removed the rack, we discovered that the upper clips on the back two upper dishrack wheels were broken in the middle, so we ordered two more of the parts. We didn't order the more expensive shipping, but the parts still came the next day. We promptly installed them, and the dishwasher is up and running. Thanks, AppliancePartsPros!

Ordered a couple of upper rack dishwasher wheels and swapped them out myself. AppliancePartsPros.com even had a video that explained how to do it in detail. Easy peasy, and saved me a lot of money.
