How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6012273 / WP8268873 Spray Arm Nut

Just replace it 

I ordered the part from appliancepartspros.com and replace the wing nut on the washer arm and worked perfectly. 

Installed new seals on the lower sprayer arm. 

Replaced the spray arm nut. 

Second sprayer hose turned to mush . Replaced it with a updated kit the only thing I didn't get Was the adapter to hook it to the basket. Mine was broken but I was able to repair it. Easy fix except for the bracket 

Replaced all three parts 

Removed the broken piece with a large screw driver then screwed the new one in place. Also got new bearings since they just dropped in. 

I removed lower rack and sprayarm paying attention to the thrust washers and location. ( the lower one has a cut through the washer/bushing which is the way it is) to get the broken piece out of the pump housing I used a larger knife into the opening slicing in the side while holding downward pressure turning counterclockwise, the broken piece unscrewed with out any problems.then reassembled putting thrust washer/bushing on then lowering sprayarm onto it. installed last bushing and nut to finger tight. it is working fine. hope this helps someone else having problems removing broken part.

I ordered a new spray arm nut and some clips for the upper dish rack which came the following day. It was easy to replace and add the new clips. The video's are very convenient also
