How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6006056 / WP2188661 Crisper Pan

Well, I first tried duct tape - that worked for a while. Then I bought laser, 5 minute fix glue - that didn't work at all. Finally, I ordered the crisper drawer from Appliance Parts. I received it the day after I ordered it, the drawer fit, and I am happy. Regarding the question "How challenging was it to repair the appliance yourself", it was only easy after I ordered the drawer from Appliance Repair. Prior to that, it was pretty frustrating. 

I located the web site via the internet and contacted the 1-800 number. The service rep was incredibly helpful and personable. After providing her with the model number and parts needed,the process could not have been easier. My replacement parts arrived the next day a perfect match. I highly recommend using this service, first class all the way. 

Google parts with fridge model, appliance parts pro came up, I looked up parts but was unsure and I called, nice lady set me straight, put order in and received in few days. Bottom line I saved over $60.00 compared with Sears given estimate. Thanks a lot!!

Replace with a newly delivered crisper pan.Fits exactly like an original one.Thanks a lot, 

Replaced Water Inlet Valve 

Slid new Crisper Pan into place. 

Replaced with new crisper drawer
