The new seal caused the lid not to shut all the way down. Got the hair drier out and heated up the seal, closed the lid and pushed down with full weight to flatten seal a hair. Unit works fine now. George R Elgin , TX May 01, 2015 Appliance: Model # DIDN'T HELP...FOUND PICTURE ON WEB SITE The rubber lid seal on our kenmore washer had worn and kept slipping our of place After receiving the new part I simply pulled off the old part and slid the new seal into place. The seal had a long slit on the back that slid onto the metal rim of the lid...the lid had 5 little bumps along the edge to keep the seal in place.
