How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP7186953 / W11590578 Washer Water Temperature Sensor Seal

Removed the leaking hoses and seal. Installed the new ones. They all fit perfectly. The disassembly/reassembly of the washer took the most time. 

Purchased new sensor and seal. Watched a video on the repair that said the sensor was behind a panel on the front of the machine. Actually it was behind the back panel. After finding the sensor it was a 5 minute repair. Most of the time was moving the machine to get access to the back. 

It went very well after we realized the sensor on our Washer was in the back instead of the front. 

I removed the old water temperature sensor and seal. Then I installed the new water temperature seal and sensor from Appliancepartspros.com. Now, I have no more error code on my Whirlpool Duet washer and it was a very easy install. 

Replaced temperature sencer and ruber grommet 

Resoder wires and replaced temp sensor. We're clean again.

Purchased Water Temperature Sensor Seal. 

After going through the code sequence it showed and error F24 indicated that the temperature sensor was most likely the cause. I replaced it, and everything is now working fine. It was a simple fix; just unscrewing the rear panel, then pulling off the connector, then replacing the sensor and seal with new ones.
