I had my 13 year old Autistic grandson assist me. He likes to fix things. We removed the washer cabinet first. Then removed the tub ring by pressing on the top of the tub ring and releasing the 8 clips. The soap scum was built up considerably due to the years of use. We took quit a bit of time to clean up the scum, both prior to and after removing the old seal. The old seal slipped out fairly easily and the new one slipped in real easy. Once that was done, reinstalled tub ring and cabinet in reverse order. Problems: 1) reinstalling cabinet on base and 2) attempting to renistall clips at top of cabinet to back of washer backwards. With help got it done.
