How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013667 / WP96160 Adapter Tube Assembly

Went on internet, found a great site and learned that the cold water hose filter was very much clogged at the machine intake. Cleaned it and voila. Ordered an extra filter from Appliance Pros.com and literally was amazed that it arrive within 2 days of my internet order. Great efficiency and customer service….great experience. Will definitely use them in the future….thank you! 

Purchased new water level switch, water inlet valve, and inlet hose assembly from your wonderful website! Just had to remove old parts inside washer and install new parts. 

Replaced the water inlet valve and hoping for the best. 

Required the replacement of the transmission. Doing analysis on the old one showed that the ring gear and pinion were damaged causing the gear to slip (thus the loud noise). Working fine after changing the transmission. 

Two new inlet valve filters 

F20 error code kept popping up toward the end of the wash cycle. Came to this “go to” site. Looked up what it could be. Decided it may be the flow meter and ordered the pressure hose just to replace in case as well. Took all of 30 minutes and the washer is back to running perfectly. This site is the bomb for appliance parts and most of all help in figuring out just what you need. 

Both were extremely easy fixes.....small panel on back of washer with 1 screw allowed access to water inlet valve assm.....just took a pic with my cell phone....proceeded to disconnect and then replaced all 4 wires and small hose exactly as they were ....done tub drain hose repair....pulled hose off and installed new one with 2 high quality stainless steel hose clamps and done,,,,,ALL OF THE PARTS FIT PERFECTLY....THATS WHY I ALWAYS BUY MY PARTS HERE....TOP QUALITY 

Part from AP Pro arrived promptly. Tricky to install with out damage to new filter. Just be careful with a blunt blade screw driver.
