From u tube checked the piston and plug found it in bad shape and stuck closed. Ordered part. And installed. It took 15 minutes to find the problem . While I was in there I cleaned the drain screens which were plugged. Part came sooner then anticipated. It took 10 minutes to install. the dishwasher is working as designed.
